Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell played several shows this weekend at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles, having a few high profile friends help him out.
Though Cantrell was the main draw he was joined by former-Dillinger Escape Plan singer Greg Puciato, Megadeth and Black Label Society alum James Lomenzo, Marilyn Manson and Bush producer Tyler Bates and Saudade drummer Gil Sharone.
For much of the set, Puciato helped Cantrell on vocals, including on some of Alice in Chains’ biggest hits including “Would?” and “Down in a Hole.” .
Cantrell also ddrew from his solo work, starting the show with “Between” and “Cut You In.” And there were a couple of covers thrown in including wrapping up the night with CCR’s “Who’ll Stop the Rain” and Elton John’s “Goodbye.”
