The Misfits Announce Reunion Show!
The reunited Misfits played a sold out show this past weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York, and if you missed it, you might still be in luck. They’re now teasing another show in Philadelphia for this December.
Live Nation Philadelphia posted a teaser video on their social media platforms yesterday (Oct. 21) with the caption “Coming soon…”. The clip showed the Philadelphia Flyers mascot, followed by the date Dec. 14, 2019 and the Misfits’ Crimson Ghost logo. It was officially confirmed that the Misfits will be playing a reunion show at the December 14th reunion show at Wells Fargo Arena with special guests Dropkick Murphys and Agnostic Front. Tickets go on sale on Friday October 25 at 10AM ET.
The band’s Oct. 19 show at the Garden in New York was teased in a similar manner by Live Nation New York back in July, showing the Crimson Ghost in the background of a photo of the New York City skyline. Shortly after, Misfits confirmed the show on their own accounts, so keep an eye on their social media over the next few days for an official announcement.
Eddie Van Halen Attends Tool Concert
Eddie Van Halen and his son Wolfgang attended Tool’s show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday night.
A guy asked my dad if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him, having no idea who he just asked, and that was my favorite moment from the @Tool show last night. pic.twitter.com/tA1lywM0yf

A funny thing happened, a fan who wanted to show off to his friends how close he got to Tool’s stage. He asked a man to take his photo not realizing it was Eddie Van Halen. Eddie’s son Wolfgang captured the actual interaction and uploaded it to Twitter saying:
“A guy asked my dad if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him, having no idea who he just asked. That was my favourite moment from the Tool show last night.”
Wolfgang later posted several shots of the show saying: “Tool was phenomenal as always last night.”
There’s been much speculation surrounding Eddie’s health recently, with some online reports suggesting he’s undergoing treatment for throat cancer in Germany, but there’s been nothing official from his or Van Halen’s camp.
