Guns N’ Roses Fan Rick Dunsford Gets Banned From The Band’s Shows
According to fan site Guns N’ Roses Central, a longtime supporter of the group named Rick Dunsford has been banned from future Guns N’ Roses shows. Dunsford made the claim on his facebook page where he claimed he tried to attend the band’s show this week in Wichita, Kansas and was turned away and warned that he would be arrested if he showed his face again. See his post below along with fan filmed video of him being escorted out of the show.
“So today I flew out to Wichita, KS to see my favorite band Guns N’ Roses!” he began. “Today would be my 33rd time seeing them!
“Well I was just pulled from the line and told if I ever come to a Guns N’ Roses show again that I’ll be arrested! I was gonna escorted off the property and told I’m done.
So why was he banned? Well it’s alleged that he is responsible for the slew of recent Guns N’ Roses leaks that have surfaced over the past month or so.
Fan site GNR Central says that Rick reportedly posted about how he would be at the concert and even bought VIP tickets making it easier for management to know he’d show up. , They put the clues together and kicked him out of the show. It’s too bad given that the band performed “Locomotive” for the first time in 27 years that night in Kansas. The last time the band performed the song was in February of 1992 during a string of dates in Japan.
Although there’s no word as to whether this decision may be reversed in the near future, the Monday night show did actually include a rather special moment, with the band serving up a performance of ‘Locomotive’ for the first time in 27 years. Personally it’s ridiculous
